ISCE offers several opportunities to propel social science faculty research to the next level.
Virginia Tech's Institute for Society, Culture, and Environment provides resources for faculty researchers, with an emphasis on the social sciences. ISCE's main goals include but are not limited to, increasing the quality, quantity, and competitiveness of Virginia Tech's research portfolio. ISCE achieves these goals through several different mediums including, internal and external grant funding, workshops, and seminars, along with specific programs that can aid in faculty research. Some programs that ISCE offers include the ISCE Scholar Program, PREP, +Policy, and the Whole Health Consortium.
