Jeff Janz
IT Project Manager
Jeff Janz joined Virginia Tech as an IT project manager in February 2025. He blends tried and true Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) project management philosophy with innovative new ideas in the world of project management techniques. He has spent much of his career working in both private and public higher education IT offices. Jeff has been a certified Project Manager Professional since 2015 and is active in the Project Management Institute (PMI) community.
Jeff is married with two children. He enjoys traveling and exposing his children to the wonders that this world has to offer. Jeff is also an avid golfer and regularly competes in WR4GD Adaptive Golf tournaments around the world.
